Bikers Join Together To Help Dog Stranded On A Busy Bridge

Video has emerged showing the heartwarming moment a group of motorcyclists in Turkey put their own lives on the line to help a trapped dog make it to safety.

It's unclear from the footage how the desperate animal came to be stranded there on one of Istanbul's busiest bridges, but it was likely only a matter of time before he was struck by a passing car. Fortunately, the quick-thinking bikers knew just what to do to help.

They formed a human shield around the dog as protection, escorting her to a pedestrian area where she could escape the traffic.

After the dog is out of danger, one of the bikers appears to linger behind, perhaps to guide her the rest of the way to where a car is parked on the shoulder a short distance ahead. But while we may never come to know the dog's full story, it's heartening to see that, in her most desperate moment, she had the kindness of strangers to help see her through it.
