Family Finds Tiniest Kitten In Street. But He Isn’t What He Seems

The Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand was urgently called after a family in Thailand found a tiny kitten in the middle of a road and went to rescue him but the feline was so small that they needed help. However, when the vets from the foundation came to give a hand, they discovered the kitten was no ordinary cat: they discovered it was a fishing cat kitten, an endangered species of feline that grows to be twice the size of a domestic cat.

“When we arrived we found the kitten to be very cold and in urgent need of some milk, so we headed straight back to the WFFT Wildlife Hospital with the little kitten held closely to vet Aon’s chest to keep warm.” It appears that little Simba’s mother was raised by a local family and then released back into the wild and perhaps lost him while moving her litter of kittens.

They quickly got the kitten the help he needed and named the tiny one Simba.
