This homeless cat is struggling to find a new family for Christmas – because she’s cross-eyed.
Black and white tabby Bob has been unable to find a new owner because of her wonky eyes, which make her look like the hypnotised panther Bagheera from The Jungle Book.
Bob used to live above a newsagents with her owner until he disappeared in the middle of the night two years ago.
Since then staff at McColl’s newsagents in Jubilee Crescent, Coventry, have let her sleep outside the shop and have even built a little hut especially for the lonely feline.

Now workers at the newsagents are appealing for owners to give Bob a home this Christmas.
Supervisor Alison Rodgers, 52, said: “It’s sad really because I don’t think any animal should be left alone. It’s not right her sleeping here, she needs a proper home away from here.”

She said: “I think maybe some people are put off by her eyes, which is a shame because I think it makes her look more cute.
“People say she reminds them of the panther from the Jungle Book after he’s been hypnotised by the snake. But to us, she’s just plain old Bob.”

Mum of four Alison added: “We don’t know what’s wrong with her eyes, she’s always been like that.
“It doesn’t seem to affect her at all, she’s fine. But she’s grown shy because people haven’t handled her in so long.
“She’s ok with us, but if other people come near she runs away.
“Someone needs to give her a home this Christmas before she goes too feral.”
Manager Sarah Meadows added: “I can’t have him myself because I’m out all day and it wouldn’t be fair.
“It would be so nice if he could have a home for Christmas.”
