A RUSSIAN FARMER FOUND THIS STRANGE KITTEN IN HIS BARN, BUT IT TURNED OUT TO BE SO MUCH MORE

In Russia, a farmer was walking around his property when he noticed something strange. He saw four little kittens that didn’t really look like normal kittens.

There was something about them that didn’t resemble like ordinary cats.

The farmer was concerned about the little kittens, that haven’t even opened their eyes yet, and he decided to call the Daursky Nature Reserve.

There in the Reserve, they identified the breed as Pallas cats, or also sometimes called manul. They are a rare wild cat native to Central Asia.

This breed doesn’t grow big in size and it’s actually similar to house cats. The characteristics that distinguish them are their short legs and the thicker hair, that helps them survive cold weather. Also, they have a bit wider face and flatter ears.

Since they were very small they still needed to be nursed and lucky for them two domestic cats at the Reserve adopted the wild kittens as their own.

As soon as the kittens got fed there was a noticeable growth in their size. The people at the Reserve got to love these kittens very much, but they knew that at some point they would have to release them in the wild where they belong.

Luckily, the manuls are now again back in the wild and they are doing great.
