Mothers are absolutely the most loving beings we meet in this world — and the same goes for animal mothers. The same maternal instinct runs in them, and caring for a fragile, little baby is one of the things that they look out for. While some animals would only agree to protect and care for their own offspring, others extend their love and affection not only to their own, but also to little ones who need to survive with the help of a mother.
Surprisingly, an incident that depicts a mother’s love occurred in May 2014, wherein four chihuahua-mix pups were born prematurely. Two of the puppies did not survive, but the other two who did were rejected by their mother. With a dilemma like this, the staff taking care of the pups decided to introduce them to a wonderful mother cat named Nessy. The 2-year-old siamese mix has recently given birth to a litter of kittens and when the staff put the puppies next to mama Nessy, something heartwarming happened — Nessy nursed the puppies! Who would have thought that a cat like Nessy will give the needed maternal care to the two chihuahua pups? Truly, a mom’s love goes beyond boundaries! Watch the full video below:
